CHACALA 16 MARCH 2007

PHOTO: Luc, his majestro & amigas!
Luc’s last school day and we hand out all the gifts to his amigos. Great excitement! I hoped to do some more work with Angelica, but she is really busy, so I try and sort out my bookings and do SA emails. The ADSL line is really difficult because it keeps on cutting off all the time. Jorge works on the bar menus and it comes out really nice. The painting is nearly done and it also looks so much better. I pick Luc up from school and the two of us go for a quick swim in the sea. I feel bad, because although I am with him most of the time, there is very little quality time together. After lunch it is back to work. Luc is happy to watch DVD and even joins in for the Spanish class – by the way, our Spanish is still limited to Hallo and goodbye! Really difficult language, although I can understand a bit more. We decide to dance after dinner and eventually the party moves down to the beach where there is a bonfire. In true Mexican style the Tequila is brought out (I think I had my last tequila 20 years ago!!). I eventually retire to bed, but Luc is on a roll and persuades the rest of the group to go and watch Napoleon Dynamite with him!
